Documented impact

Documentation of the impact or value of your idea will in many cases be one of the most important and time consuming assessments to establish. With commercially oriented development projects the needed documentation is often in regards to market analyses (market size and willingness for customers to pay), while the dissemination plan (how to reach those for whom the project is created) is important in non-profit, common good projects. An assessment can also be a question of demonstrating the effects directly related to the main purpose of the foundation itself – for example, energy savings, CO2 reduction, increased biodiversity, job creation, etc.
